Akshay Kumar's Airlift Run Time and Censor Certificate Details Revealed

Akshay Kumar is all set to enthrall us this Republic day with a power-packed performance. The movie will be released this Friday and the censor board has cleared it with a U/A certificate.

The CBFC has cleared the movie with U/A – Universal Adult Certificate without any cuts and objection.

With the run time of 2 hours 2 minutes, Airlift is Akshay Kumar fourth shortest movie after Blue (114 minutes), Tasveer 8*10 (117 minutes) and Joker (102 minutes). The crisp run time of 122 minutes is an assurance that the movie will be fast paced and an edge of the seat thriller.

Airlift is one of the most awaited movies of the year. The movie has created huge buzz before its release thanks to the mind blowing trailer and over the top promotion by the lead star cast.

Airlift is releasing on 22 January 2016 and is set to clash with  Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 – starring Tusshar Kapoor, Aftab Shivdasani and Mandana Karimi in lead roles.

Airlift is based on the evacuation of Kuwait-based Indians during the Iraqi evacuation in 1990. Akshay plays the role of Ranjit Katyal who is an unsung hero in aiding the evacuation process. The movie also stars Nimrat Kaur as Akshay Kumar’s wife.
