Our famous family man, Akshay Kumar held out a helping hand to Chennai Relief work today. The star made a contribution of 1 Crore to Bhoomika Trust. Bhoomika Trust has been actively involved in disaster recovery in flood-hit Chennai. Akshay Kumar has expressed interest in helping and contributing to Chennai Flood Relief work. He then contacted Priyadarshan. Priyadarshan then asked him to contact Suhasini Maniratnam, who has been involved in flood relief work.
Well, it is a generous move and will indeed get him good karma.
