A few days ago, we informed you that Akshay Kumar has been approached by R. Balki’s next film. The actor liked the script and promptly said yes to the film. It will be a slice of the life film and will feature two actresses opposite Akshay Kumar. Radhika Apte has already been finalized while the search for the other actress is on. Now the latest media reports suggest that Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar might be sharing screen together after 10 years in the film.

Mumbai Mirror reports that the director has drafted a special character for Amitabh Bachchan and wants to bring Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan together.

Amitabh and Akshay were last seen together in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Family. The duo has worked together in movies like Khakee, Waqt and Ek Rishta.

The report also states that the film will go on floors 2017 once Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan completes their existing commitments. Akshay has two films to complete before he moves to R. Balki’s film. He is currently shooting for Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. After TEPK, he will start shooting for Neeraj Pandey’s Crack. Amitabh Bachchan will start shooting for Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan in February/March 2017.
