The reviews and WOM aren’t positive and it is certainly hurting the movie at the Box Office. The biggest relief for the makers is that the movie has already recovered around 50% of its budget through satellite and music rights. The movie just need 40 crores to be an average grosser. Below is the Box Office analysis of Akira.

Lifetime collection < 35 crores (Flop)
Lifetime collection > 35 crores (Average)

Till now, Akira has posted average numbers at the Box Office, all thanks to the extended weekend. Since most of the screens have been allocated to new releases, Baar Baar Dekho and Freaky Ali, it will be tough going for Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira.
