Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift’ had a superb opening week at the domestic Box Office. After a good opening weekend with the collection of 44.3 crores, the movie remained strong on weekdays as well. After witnessing first major drop on Wednesday, the movie holds well and collected around 5.5 crores on the 7th day. With 5.5 crores on the 7th day, ‘Airlift’ now stands at the opening week collection of 83.5 crores.

‘Airlift‘ is driving on superb reviews from critics and audiences. It’s been quite a while we have seen such unanimous positive reviews for a movie. Made on a budget of 45 crores, ‘Airlift‘ is already one of the biggest hits of Akshay Kumar. The movie is well on its way to become the first 100 crores grosser of 2016.
As there is no big release this Friday, we expect the movie to continue its domination at the Box Office till the release of ‘Ghayal Once Again‘ on 5th Feb 2016. The movie may emerge as the highest grosser for Akshay Kumar beating the lifetime collection of Rowdy Rathore (135 crores).
