Old Bollywood Actors : Age doesn’t matter for these Bollywood Superheroes

When we talk about a hero, the image at once appears of a lad around 20-25 years roaming and rooming in front of his girl. But heyy, have a break!! Coz the barriers have been broken as the concept has been changed & the rules have been revised. Now a 65-year-old man with graying locks, brown beard, and a trembling move is the new age ‘hero’ and also the talk of the B’town.

If you don’t believe then just have a first look of Rajnikanth’s latest flick ‘Lingaa’ and you are bound to change your conception as it will make complex even a 25-year-old young lad. Bollywood is having a revamp and so does the demanding audience. You can say that the lead role in a movie is no more dependent on age factor.

Also it is not necessary to look young as in ‘Bhootnath’ & ‘Bhootnath Returns’ , Amitabh Bachchan was in his original look as well as the ‘hero’ of the movie. In his upcoming film ‘Shamitabh’ , he is in second lead but his look is creating more furor than the main lead actor Dhanush.

In Vishal Bhardwaj’s 2011 film ‘Maqbool’ Pankaj Kapur’s role was no less than Irffan Khan. The grace and poise with which he has acted is just commendable. In ‘Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola’ he set his missile on Imran Khan and make him run for the money.

Above all the point is that all these old age lead actors are no less than the superheroes. They have the experience, enthusiasm and the energy to show on big screen. Their films are not only highly appreciated by the critics, but also did good business, with Rajnikanth at the top of the list as all his films are raking more than 100 crore business. So the show will go on… as the directors & producers are enjoying their slice with more butter and the audience is enjoying their time with more roar.
