Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Shivaay Opening Day Collection Reports: Occupancy & Estimated First Day Earnings

Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay and Ranbir Kapoor’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil have got off to a decent start at the Box Office. As per the reports coming, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is off to a better start in the morning shows than Shivaay. The advance booking reports of Ae Dil hai Mushkil were good and it seems that the movie will leave behind Shivaay by a good margin on an opening day. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Opening Day Collection Reports: Occupancy Report & Estimated Earnings

Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is off to a superb start in morning shows. The movie has opened an occupancy of around 45% and is better than the other release Shivaay. The opening was best in high-end metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. In some urban centres, even the Housefull shows were reported which is a very good sign.

The movie is heading towards a big opening day as the advance booking reports are good. It remained strong the afternoon shows with the average occupancy in the range of 45% to 50%.

Shivaay Opening Day Collection Reports: Occupancy Report & Estimated Collection

Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay is also off to a decent opening. As per the reports coming, the movie registers an occupancy of around 25% to 30% in the morning shows. Shivaay is dominating in mass centres like UP, Bihar, Gujarat and CI. In metros, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has taken a big lead. The movie hasn’t been able to pick up in the afternoon shows. The average occupancy in the afternoon shows was around 30%.

Shivaay has also been affected by the pre diwali celebrations. The movie will surely pick up on Monday provided the reviews and WOM turn out to be in its favour. The reviews so far haven’t been good and it may severely affect the movie in coming days. As per early estimates, Shivaay first day collection may cross 10 crores. The official collection may go higher depending on the performance in the evening and night shows

The opening should have been better considering the hype and buzz Shivaay has created before release.
