Recent buzz in tinsel town is that Aditya Roy Kapoor & Shraddha Kapoor are hand picked for the remake of South Indian blockbuster ‘OK Kanmani’!
The movie will be directed by Shaad Ali and will be co-written by him and Mani Ratnam. Earlier, Sonakshi Sinha was being considered to be paired up with Aditya. But the Aashiqui 2 Jodi was finalized for the leads, keeping in mind their realistic and charismatic onscreen chemistry and audience connect. Well, no blames to Sonakshi Sinha for this.
Aditya Roy Kapoor & Shraddha Kapoor would portray the roles of Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen, a young couple in a live-in relationship in Mumbai. Prakash Raj will play the same role he played in the original film i.e. of the couple’s landlord, and A. R. Rahman will write some perfect rhymes for the remake as well.
It will be a treat to watch them together after Aashiqui 2 and all the speculations about their on and off relationship!
