Aamir Khan’s Dangal release date preponed to Independence day, to clash with Akshay Kumar’s Rustom and Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro.
This is a good news for Aamir Khan’s fan who have been waiting for the release of his much anticipated Dangal. As per the latest reports coming in, Aamir Khan has already started working on the rescheduling of the movie and if all goes well, the movie might get released on Independence day. Aamir Khan is eyeing Independence day release as the movie has a patriotic theme.
As per the reports in HT, “In all likelihood, Aamir is going to move the film’s release date to the Aug. 15 weekend. Since the movie is almost ready, doing so shouldn’t be an issue. He feels that since the film strongly showcases love for the nation, it would be perfect to bring the movie out on Independence Day.”
As per Aamir, “Dangal is a patriotic film and talks the empowerment of the daughters of India, where he play the role of a father to four daughters. My character carries a dream of winning a gold medal for India, which his daughters fulfill for him. It is a very patriotic and emotional story. So, I believe that the best day to release this film would be Independence day weekend.”
We are still awaiting confirmation but if the release date of the movie is preponed to Indepence day then we are in for the biggest clash of all time at the Box Office. We must tell you that Akshay Kumar’s Rustom and Hrithik Roshan’s much awaited Mohenjo Daro are also slated for release during the Independence day weekend.
If these three movie clashes on 12 Aug 2016, which one do you think will be the Box Office winner?
