Aamir Khan’s Dangal to Release on 16th December 2016. Based on Indian Wrestler, Mahavir Phogat, the movie is set to enjoy a three week free run at the Box Office like PK and Dhoom 3.
According to a report by a leading daily, the producers of Dangal have preponed the release date of the movie to 16 Dec 2016 to take the full benefit if extended holiday period. Earlier, Dangal was scheduled to release on 23 Dec 2016.
According to a source close to the daily, “Aamir has no plans to shift the release date of Dangal to 2017. His film is definitely releasing in December. The release date is not December 23 now. Aamir and UTV plan to release Dangal a week ahead on December 16. An official announcement will be made soon.”
The final shooting schedule of Dangal is scheduled to start today in Ludhiana. Aamir Khan will shoot for around 15 days in the city for the younger version of Mahavir Phogat. The actor shed around 25 kgs to look authentic as a young wrestler. Aamir Khan’s new beefed up look is breaking the internet.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie is expected to be wrapped by July first week. Dangal is the most awaited movie of the year along with Salman Khan’s Sultan and Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro.
