Aamir Khan seriously injured during the shooting of 'Dangal'!
Aamir Khan's Dangal Look

‘Mr. Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan took his perfection a bit too far when he collapsed today on the sets of Dangal while shooting in Ludhiana!

Aamir Khan plays the role of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat in the film. He has been gaining lots of weight in order to portray the 60-year-old, currently weighing about 98 kgs!

But all this seem to have taken a toll on his health. The actor hasn’t even used a body-double in the film. The film’s schedule in Ludhiana has been going on for the last 40 days, but it had to be stopped all of a sudden when Aamir collapsed on the sets at the Guru Nanak stadium.

Aamir’s spokesperson told Mumbai Mirror that, “Aamir had been filming a long action sequence that required multiple takes from different angles. When he slumped during the final take, the unit thought he had pulled a muscle. He was in excruciating pain even after half an hour of rest and ice packs. He couldn’t even stand up. He was then rushed to the hospital where it was diagnosed that he had suffered a serious shoulder injury.”

Aamir Khan has been flown down to Mumbai for further treatment. We hope he gets well soon! Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal also stars Sakshi Tanwar. The movie is slated for release in Dec 2016.
